6-Week Treatment Outcome: Diabetic Foot Ulcer
A 48-year-old female presented with a diabetic foot ulcer requiring structured wound management. Baseline assessment indicated non-viable tissue necessitating immediate debridement.
On Day 0, surgical debridement was performed to remove necrotic tissue and prepare the wound bed. From Day 5 onward, Regen-D 150 Gel was incorporated into the local wound care protocol, alongside regular sterile dressings and systemic antibiotic injections administered three times daily as clinically indicated.
By Day 15, significant clinical improvement was observed, allowing discontinuation of antibiotic injections while continuing topical management with Regen-D 150 Gel. Progressive wound improvement was documented between Days 25 and 45, demonstrating advancing granulation and tissue regeneration.
At completion of the 6-week treatment period, sustained healing progression was observed without reported adverse events.
This case reflects clinically observable improvement following structured wound bed preparation, targeted topical therapy, and continuous monitoring in the management of diabetic foot ulcer. Outcomes may vary depending on glycemic control and comorbid conditions.
